If you are using a Nintendo Switch, it's very likely you will sleep the system. The smooth brains who made Minecraft Bedrock did not foresee this circumstance. So if you do it, the game will report a "communication error". But wait, there's more!
Even if you're really careful, and make sure to save and quit, and make sure to close Minecraft before closing your Switch:
*Expected Behavior:*
Minecraft remembers I have a Microsoft account and save data to that account and I play Minecraft using that data. The stuff I've paid for is still mine.
*Actual Behavior*
Minecraft requires me to log in to my Nintendo Account.
Minecraft requires me to log in to my Microsoft Account.
Minecraft asks me if I want to save this choice to my Microsoft Account even though I agree every day.
Minecraft makes me use the default ugly shitty Bedrock Skin.
A few days later Minecraft decides I meant the girl skin even though I picked a totally different skin.
Every time I start the game I have to confirm I want to log into my Nintendo Account, then log into my Microsoft Account, then that I want to save my purchases to a Microsoft account.
Minecraft Bedrock should acknowledge that every platform it runs on supports the notion of sleep.
Even if I pay for a skin, Minecraft will randomly reset me to the default and teach me it's not worth any money to ever pay for anything Minecraft.
The reality is every account just randomly loses items and customizations so there is no point in paying for your work.
