I tried constructing a skylight from glass window panes. Instead of the expected large flat glass panel, the result was a 1x1 grid which rain (and even the player) could fall through without it smashing.
This could be WAI, if window panes are only supposed to be capable of being constructed in the xy and zy planes, not the xz plane. If so, I apologise for the time wasted.

Thank you, was uncertain whether this was a bug or not. Can be worked around easily by using glass blocks, and upon thought changing it would actually be game-breaking, so not worthy of a suggestion.
