My brothers were playing Minecraft on the switch when they made some glass. They cooked some sand in a furnace as you do to make some glass, and when they started to build with it they noticed if you held it other players could see through that part of you. You could also see through yourself if you went into third person.
Edit: found this bug somewhere else in the bug tracker, so this is probably a dupe
