So, I was hiding diamond stuff (chestplate, boots, leggings, Efficiency I pickaxe) in a minecart chest and doing the block chest trick. I broke my minecart chest, and it just dropped minecart and chest. No diamond stuff. Dug around it to see if it dropped somewhere else. It didn't. So that is an enchanted pick, and 3/4 diamond armor. Gone. This was on me & my friend's survival world.
That is a lot of work for nothing. Because of a glitch. Please fix this because now I have to grind for a bunch of diamonds.

Update: Stuff probably just dropped in the block above it and shot up to the surface. But it might have still despawned.
