I've been working on a world in Minecraft Beta (the world was created in an earlier version of the beta). I just updated to the latest beta version (1.17.30.23) and loaded my world and found some major issues/bugs:
1) All villagers, chickens, pigs, and sheep were gone from the world (at least in the area of the world I'm working in).
2) All the items in my chests are gone.
3) All double-chests are now 2 single chests side-by-side.
4) All shulker boxes that were placed down have their items missing. Shulker boxes in my ender chest still have their items.
5) All placed beds have defaulted to a red color. I had white and yellow beds placed in my world.
If there's any way I can recover my losses (the villagers and other friendly mobs, as well as my chest items), please let me know.

Same. Mine was a 6 year world. Luckily I have backups, but all mobs accross the world, regardless of being in unrendered chunks, died. All books deleted, signs erased, banners reverting to a plain black banner, command block commands, erased. But it also raised my coords up by 65 blocks, making 62 sea level become 127 on my Y.
