Every time I place a set of doors (one or two) they all despawn within five minutes. I am in a mountain range, which has spawned a lot of goats. I am not entirely sure if they have been able to push them off in some way, since I also find one always roaming about. This hasn't happened before to me, and I've tried logging off, then logging in again, but they still despawn.
