Today, when I played Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on PC, the game failed to load my paid Kazooie skin. I checked the Minecraft Marketplace and it failed to load correctly. Later, when I checked my world list, some worlds suddenly showed a locked icon. Then when I clicked on worlds like "Rockett Adventures," "MEGA Skyblock," "Simburbia," and "Glitch Runner: Endless Parkour," which all now had locked icons, it said "This world was created using a template that you have not unlocked. You must purchase the template to unlock this world." This makes no sense, not because I had no idea you needed the template purchased to play the world before this, but because those worlds were in fact purchased by me on that account before. Then when I got to the Marketplace, which now loaded correctly, it said I didn't purchase the content and worse, now it is suddenly paid content even though it was free when I obtained it. Then, I clicked on My Content, it said I had ZERO content purchased from the Minecraft Marketplace.
This raised a red flag as I had unlocked 60+ content packages from the Marketplace, including the Kazooie skin that suddenly stopped loading today. I had Minecraft Birthday Skin Packs, some paid content I purchased during the Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition days, a pack that I purchased with Minecoins, and some free content such as worlds and skins that apparently became paid again, and now all of a sudden the game claims I never even purchased that content. I think it forgot that I unlocked content on the Minecraft Marketplace due to me migrating my Minecraft: Java Edition account to use the same Microsoft account I used to sign into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. The last time I played before I migrated, none of these issues occurred, and I still had my content I purchased. I also checked on my iPhone where I signed into the same Microsoft account for Minecraft, and none of the purchases were available there either, as it also claimed I never purchased anything.
This is not acceptable as I also purchased an item using Minecoins. It didn't reset my Minecoin count though, it still is at 83 Minecoins like it was before the glitch which caused me to lose my marketplace items occurred. Is it possible to get the items restored without having to pay again (or for the first time for some of these items)? Can Microsoft help restore these items to my account?
The Java account migration has nothing to do with this issue. There is currently a service outage, which is what is causing this issue. Please watch https://twitter.com/MojangStatus for updates on the outage.
