[MCPE-142996] Xbox1 glitch after last update

After last update that happened about a few days ago i can no longer use the left trigger in the game. I cannot Farm or consume food. I can drink potions and still use the furnace. Any word on a patch??

My son fixed it. He told me that when I save and quit I never shut the game off. I guess it still runs in the background?? He told me he closed the game, reloaded it and it started working again.
