Steps to Reproduce:
In the "Dressing Room" select "Edit Character"
Under the "Body" tab, select "Base"
Select a base that can be colored and select a color
While staying in the color menu, select the "Classic Skins" page from the left side-menu
Exit the Character Creator entirely
Observed Results:
Most colors of clothes and items in the "Style" category of the Character Creator will have the same color as the selected base color of the character. This occurs when the clothes are previewed and when they are equipped. Two examples are depicted below. You are able to change the base color of the character afterward without affecting the new color of the clothes.
Expected Results:
All clothes and items in the "Style" category of the Character Creator should have colors that match the ones displayed on the corresponding icon. An example is depicted below.

Iām having this same issue and I deleted and recreated my character but as soon as you reset the game it changes colour again. Can you help fix this mojang
Affects 1.17.41 but it's quite different.
Ā
Before updates, I figured out selecting body color, for example eyes or mouth, and equiping none causes such bugs.
In 1.17.41 reproducing progress figured out by me seemed fixed, but I still frequently experience that with no reason. (And PE got crashed after color of cloth have changed, 1.17.41)
