When playing multiplayer, guests are randomly losing items in their inventory while another is being duplicated. This is happening no matter who is running the server, the number of users, or the device in my house that is running the server. It started around the time of the new update that supposedly fixed bugs but has only created more. I'm also seeing through blocks very often.

Keeping things in a chest would be nice but when you realize your sword is gone and then your bow and you are running from monsters with a full inventory after a successful mining raid it becomes more annoying than the entertainment the game is giving you... Our family was enjoying multiplayer but now everyone is going back to playing by themselves... Not the intention I had when I purchased this game across multiple devices and skins... I'm not looking for why it happens and/or how to minimalize it's damage. I'm looking for it to be resolved and quickly! This is one of the highest grossing games of all time and there shouldn't be a glitch this serious to the gameplay.
I got in touch with tommasso. We have notified several server hosts about this. No dev is online but i will try to persuade tommo to downgrade mcpe back down. Please forgive but there is only so much I can do.
I joined my daughter's new game and was able to turn 1 bar of iron into 4x64 blocks of iron in about 5 minutes so it is VERY exploitable lol.
We are also experiencing the same, on iPad Pro, iPad Air 2 and iPhone SE, all running iOS 9.3.1 and Minecraft PE 0.14.2
I believe that the inventory thinks that you are dead and therefore gives you back some of the items. Since ALL the items exist to the client it has to replace some to be able to duplicate items. You have not lost your items. just wait and they will reappear. Alternatively try to keep your things in a chest. This bug needs to be resolved before it's exploited.
