I'm playing on a standard Creative world without any texture packs, behavior packs, or mods. Usually, if I'd want to clear my hotbar I'd open my inventory and press X and it would clear. To see the bug you just have to:
Open the Creative menu.
Fill your hotbar.
Attempt to clear by pressing X or whatever button/key is bound to "Crafting".
What happens is you either take half or the "Select Recipe" button takes the "Clear" buttons place and does nothing.
What should happen is your hotbar clears when you press the button mapped to "Crafting".

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.

In Settings > Controller, is the "Clear Hotbar" option enabled? If not, does enabling it fix the issue?
