Imported custom skins cannot load on the title screen.
However, these skins can be normally loaded inside gameplay or load if chosen by hand again inside the "dressingroom". For more information, see below.
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Equip yourself with an imported skin.
2. Quit Minecraft and open it again.
Expected Results:
The imported skin is normally loaded on the title screen, that is, on the lower right part of the screen.
Observed Results:
When the game first finishes loading, the market place is not connected, and the imported skin loads properly on the lower right part of the title screen where the player's skin is displayed. Then the game starts connecting to the market place (you can see this through the "MarketPlace" button, which begins to load), and the imported skin disappears, showing the "loading" icon. However, the skin still continues to load even after successfully connecting to the market place, and ends up showing a "cannot connect" sign.
Further Steps:
Click the "dressingroom" button, and you shall see that the imported skin has actually finished loading inside. Switch into another skin and back again, leave "dressingroom", and you will find that the imported skin is loaded properly again on the title screen.
This issue does not affect skins provided inside Minecraft.
This was not a very big issue before 1.17.34, because before this update the imported skin would show an infinite loading icon on the title screen, which is small and doesn't affect gameplay. However, after 1.17.34, a huge "cannot connect to market place" sign would appear, blocking up a huge part of the screen. However, this ticket is not about the huge sign, I'm just mentioning how this bug became annoying.
