I have been playing minecraft for a long time and this issue never got resolved so I am really upset.
When I try to connect to any multiplayer server it gives me this message:" Error while downloading packs from server. Please try again."
Steps to Reproduce:
1. You just start the game normally.
2. You go to the multiplayer servers and you click on any server
3. Then it strats downloading some data packs and when it is about to finish it shows that message
Expected Results:
I would want to connect to the game and just play on online servers with lots of people.

Same here, my friends find trouble downloading resource packs on my own server. For now, the only way to troubleshoot it is to set the texturepack-required to false
