[MCPE-144642] players location doest appear on any new maps apart from the one you started with

any new maps you make your player location doesnt appear on the map it only shows on first map you started with

if you look on the photo bellow the map on the left is the one i started with and the map on the right is the new one i made as well as the others in the background

Are the maps you crafted locator maps or normal maps?

You need a locator map for player markers to show. Locator maps are crafted with 8 paper and a compass. Your existing maps can be turned into locator maps by combing them with a compass in the crafting grid.
