cannot break blocks, or any left clicking

Cannot Reproduce

i can place blocks, but not break them, or swing sword/pick.
i am not in adventure mode. this happened suddenly in game and has effected every realm/world for me

under keyboard layout in settings, i found that Attack/Destroy was unassigned. problem is now resolved.
