When I join the world my villagers will just disappear and I have tried relogging back in and they are still gone. It is happening on multiple worlds.

Same thing happened to me. I have a world and live right between 2 full villages. I went in one day and all the villagers were gone, along with all the livestock including mine lol. Very strange. I then started another world and the very same thing happened again.
Me too(pe , playstation ) last update , my five villagers gone with no reason in close area .
