I get on my world, mobs that I tamed or the villagers that I keep for trading have disappeared. They no longer exist along with my friend's horse that he really liked but when he got on my world he noticed that the horse disappeared along with the mobs that we both tamed.

I have the exact same issue. When i loaded back into the world after saving and quitting, the mobs all dissapeared, even ones with nametags. this has happened multiple times and on multiple devices.
