I just killed the ender dragon for the third time and the egg is nowhere, I didn't touch or hit it so it would've teleported anywhere but just in case I looked everywhere it could've teleported in the end and at world spawn in the overworld, it's nowhere so I can't respawn the ender dragon anymore

OcelotOnesie, I took the ender dragon egg back to my house the first time I respawned the dragon and I put it back when I respawned it the second time , it disappears as usual when the dragon is alive but this time it didn't appear again, anyway thank you for that info 🙂 I didn't know you didn't need that egg! That's very helpful
The dragon egg should only generate when the ender dragon is defeated for the first time. Also, you do not need the dragon egg to respawn the ender dragon. You just need to place four end crystals on the edges of the exit portal, one on each side.
