When I turn my head around in the game, the world don't render on the right side of my view on my Valve Index headset. This is very distracting when playing. I suspect this is because of the slightly higher field of view on the Index than say a headset like the HP G2 Reverb.

Huh! That kinda makes me hopeful this will get fixed eventually, since you're using a WMR headset. I find it hard to imagine the developers has not noticed something like this!
I've also had pretty much the same issue in Borderlands 2 VR. In that game, I was able to fix it by editing an .ini file. So I wonder if something similar is possible with Minecraft?

Yes the rendering issue is still there as of version 1.18.2
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch SteamVR and start game from the VR shortcut.
2. Create a new world.
3. When inside the game; look all the way to the right (move your eyes) in the right eye panel.Observed Results:
The world is flickering, like it's not being rendered properly.
Expected Results:
The image should be consistent in both panels of the headset without any flickering. This is an issue on my Index as well as other brands of headsets, according to other users here.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Mixed Reality Portal (WMR)
2. Open MinecraftΒ
3. Load up existing world or create a new one Β
Observed Results:
Right side of world does not render correctly & appears to flicker into existence.Β
Expected Results:
The world should render in both lens correctly & not flicker. I'm using the Reverb G2 headset & running a copy of Minecraft purchased through the Microsoft store.

Hey, I'm using the Reverb G2 & am having a similar problem to the one that you've described. The right side of my view appears to not completely render & the world appears to flicker in. I've been scouring the internet for days trying to figure out what is causing this issue, but to no avail. Unfortunately having this constant visual anomaly present has stopped me from playing Minecraft VR. I'm hopeful a solution will be found.Β
