After updating, opening Minecraft, and the game loading, when the panorama appears, nothing else does. The panorama scrolls properly, but nothing else ever appears, meaning I can't play the game. This also only seems to happen when the game is set to use external storage, and since I can't access the settings due to only the panorama appearing, I am forced to uninstall and reinstall the game in order to play it, if it's set to external storage. The screenshot I provided is after approximately 7 minutes of waiting, in hopes of allowing the message for the ingame changelog, or the menu to appear, to no avail.

I'd have thought it would do that when loading, before the loading splash even appears (which is after the mojang screen.) as when I have Minecraft set to external storage, it takes a large amount to timr to even display the loading splash, and still does even in the current update despite the problem I have.

apparently, I had the same problem, the game is actually loading everything you have in Minecraft and the loading time actually depends on how much you have stored. Mine took 2-3mins and I only had 952MB saved, trust me when I say it'll take a few hours per device to move everything stored to a different location
