When the player opens the inventory UI or any other UI, the /dialogue command will not run.

Hi, I'm a developer of MC Maps.

I had a problem making the map.

When a /dialogue command is used after the player has opened a UI (e.g. inventory UI, Pause Screen), dialogue UI will not be displayed.

This will cause the player to be unable to open the dialogue UI and unable to continue the game.

How to trigger

1.open the inventory UI or other UI (eg: pause UI, cheset UI),Don't close inventory  UI

2.then run `/dialogue open @e[type=npc] @a test`(run it at Delayed command_block)

 

Observed Results:

the command run success,but player cant see Dialogue UI

Expected Results:

the command run success,and playercan see Dialogue UI

 

I uploaded a map with a behavior_pack that had dialogue in it.

Hopefully that proved useful to you

 

The dialogue.json file can write commands. Dialogue UI cannot be displayed, causing instructions to fail to run and resulting in map bugs.

Although command_ Block says the execution is successful, but when the player opens the inventory or other UI, there is no dialogue UI.
