After updated to the recent version of minecraft on 12/3/2021, my mob spawning boxes won't spawn mobs on survival easy, normal, or hard modes. I even copied my world and went into cheat mode to disable then enable mob spawning but that didn't work either. Please helpp!

Are there any light sources near the mob spawner? In 1.18, mobs now only spawn in complete darkness.
