The game wont load.

Whenever I launch Minecraft, it loads normally at 1st where I am then taken to the home screen. However, it then disappears to show a loading screen a few seconds later and it will go on forever. I end up having to repeatedly press on where the play button would be at to have any chance at playing before it goes to that loading screen again and I having to forcefully close the app and try again. This loading screen I am talking about would usually load up an update and new features added or to show a new thing in the marketplace, however, it now doesn’t load at all and going back to the minecraft home screen would just trigger it again. I have waited hours and it just doesn’t load. Can you please help me with this?
