Background Music plays together with Music Discs

Sure I love music in Minecraft, but there is just something that ruins it. While there is background music and when you play a music disc, background music is still playing. It's like its playing together with the other music. I think this is a bug cause it would ruin your Minecraft experience.

How to Reproduce:

Firstly, there should be a background music playing.

Second, play a music disc while background music is playing.

Expected Result: Background music stops playing when a Music Disc is playing.

Observed Results: Background Music never stops playing when a Music Disc is playing.{*}{*}
