When getting out of your boat it will become invisible and only reappear when you move far enough away for things to despawn, about a chunk or two. Then when you run back the boat will be setting there where it was before becoming invisible. Not a game killer but kinda annoying when you're traveling long distance with your boat and have to pick it up from time to time. You have to run away from it, then run back to retrieve it.
