Analog control scheme doesn't work underwater

Cannot Reproduce

step 1 : go under water
step 2 : try to move forward
result : whene moving forward the two things next to the up button dont move up

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
