I was standing near my Skeleton spawner farm above ground when a creeper blew up next to me. It didn't blow up the shell of my farm or the cage itself, but the spawn egg inside is gone. The egg didn't drop and the cage is no longer spawning skeletons. This is extremely frustrating because its the only spawner I have found on my current world. How can a spawn egg be blown up through blocks and the cage itself?? I removed the tinted glass that was there when the explosion happened so I could take a screenshot.

After leaving the area where the cage spawner was, the spawner somehow grew a spawn egg again. I don't know how or why it behaved like this, but it still seems like an bug worth looking into.
