Steps to reproduce
Throw a trident into the side of a block.
[media]Relog, or travel to a different dimension and back.
Expected result
The trident is still lodged into the side of the block.
Observed result
The trident falls off of the block when reloaded. If you reload it quickly enough you can see it fall: https://bugs.mojang.com/secure/attachment/453069/453069_Dislodges+when+ticked.mp4
Note
This bug began to occur in 1.17.30 and was described in comments on MCPE-141539, but we did not know if the fix for tridents falling in the void would fix this issue also. It did not.

Tridents also fall after two reloads if they are being pushed into a corner toward the south or east by a piston, breaking so-called "head" trident killers. To make this happen
Push the trident into a corner with a piston.

I.e. use a setup like this and flip the lever:Reload the world/dimension.
(Optional: retract the piston)
Reload the world/dimension again.
Prior to 1.17.30, the trident would be offset through the corner visually but would still function as if it were sitting in the corner, and the visual offset could reset itself if the trident were reloaded while the piston was not extended.
This has been a big issue for me as I often use this trident killer design and it used to be relog proof, so that my builds don't have off switches and in some cases they would be very cumbersome to add.
I too experience this very frequently. Many of my farms use trident killers and one in particular has 50 tridents. It is very annoying and time consuming to have to re throw each trident before using the farm. This happens when the trident is both in the side of a block and on top of a block.
I have begun experiencing this bug again in the most recent 1.19.80 update on Nintendo Switch. A thrown trident fell out of a build and landed on the ocean floor 128 blocks below. One of them remained lodged vertically and the other despawned.
Edit: Threw a trident into the front wall of my house and went into the nether hub. Traveled 1000+ blocks away to do some work. Came back an the trident is now laying on the front porch.
I'm also experiencing this. All farms that relies on trident killers are breaking because it's falling through the blocks. This is on the latest update (and the update before) on both a server and single player world.
