Latest update removed held emerald from villager, not just emerald over their head

Latest update states: "Removed the emerald icon above a Villager's head when trading"

However, even the emerald that the villager usually holds out when you are holding something they buy is gone. I use this feature to see which of my villagers buys the item I need to sell. I do not keep them in holding pens, I like to play the game as naturally as possible, but this change makes that extremely difficult. I hope it was accidental and will be brought back.
