Update: I noticed it is the first snap turn doesn't register with the headset. I press turn, nothing happens i'm still pointed same direction. I press turn again, now it turns. But the movement is messed because the character controller has me turned twice, but the view camera has me turned only once.
In 1.18.10, 1.19.0 VR as soon as I turn once, then when I press forward and i go sideways. I press back and I go the opposite sideways. When I leave immersion mode to living room the view and controls work fine. When I return to immersion it is fine, until i turn once (snap 45 degrees), then it is messed up forever, until i return to living room.
1.18.2 VR movement on Occulus Rift with Touch Controls worked fine. I was playing it with my kids.
Then one of my kids was updated to 1.18.10 so we all had to update.
Now its unplayable.
I've rebooted
I've tried every possible combination of controls. I've been playing for years in VR with classic settings for everything and snap for turning. This no longer works.

YES! Still doesn't work in 1.19.0. I haven't been able to play minecraft with my kids since Feb. It's been 4 months, it's really really sad.
I don't understand how something as basic as movement, which was working fine in VR until now, not only breaks, but gets past your QA. It's not like an occulus rift is an unknown platform/controller.
Minecraft is the killer VR app. Please fix it so I can play with my kids!
I am having the exact same problem with 1.18.10 running on an Oculus Quest 2 via Air Link. I've been playing Minecraft Bedrock for years in VR and I've never experienced this issue before.
