Attempted to travel back home through my nether portal after gathering a lot of items. It put me in an infinite loading screen and I heard the sound of taking damage. I had to quit the game because the loading screen never went away.
When I loaded back in, my avatar was Steve (I had a custom avatar set prior), I was respawned at my last bed, and all of my items were no where to be found. I went back to the portal (both Overworld and Nether side) and dug around hoping to find some of my items there to no avail.
With this random glitch and the bug that despawned all my villagers and animals I don't really want to play the game anymore at least not until it's all fixed.
