Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on a touchscreen device with a keyboard
2. Press play
3. Press create world
4. Press create new world
5. Press create
6. Tap on the screen
7. Press and hold the spacebarΒ
Observed Results:
Character jumps once.
Expected Results:
Character should continually jump for as long as the spacebar is held.
Note:
This is MCPE-142358 but reopened and updated to follow the template. The example linked in the comment requesting further information 404s. I had already given sufficient information in that issue and the commenter hadn't specified what they had tried, but oh well.
I am partial to using touch controls as my hand dexterity isn't good. I know there are others with conditions who would appreciate this from an accessibility perspective as they use Bedrock Edition for similar purposes.

Sorry, was this ever implemented or is that just an automated way of closing "stale" issues? It's like delegating minor parity suggestions (like using the new Minecraft logo for Java Edition, or using raw mouse input on Bedrock Edition) to the feedback site which relies on amassed votes. It's the same black hole as the Feedback Hub, and ironically happened around when Microsoft bought Mojang! This is getting off topic and rambly...
