Villagers killed themselves with fireworks after a raid when there's a ceiling

So recently, we've done a raid in our smp. After winning the raid, i've noticed that the fireworks were killing the villagers! I couldn't save them since the fireworks didn't stop spawning until, they stopped spawning after majority of our villagers died... This is really frustrating and we lost alot of our max leveled villagers, especially our mending villager...

Here are some steps to confirm this:

1. Make a villager farm and add a ceiling that is 3 blocks high from the ground.
2. Start a raid.

 

Once you've finish the raid and get a victory, you will notice that the villagers are killing themselves with fireworks.

The baby ones are new villagers since the old ones died because of the fireworks they spawned after the raid.
