Red/redstone particles are coming from sculk sensors. I am not sure if it's intended or a bug. But I think there should be blue/black particles instead of red.

However, this issue is Working as Intended.
The report you have submitted is working as intended: An activated sculk sensor should emit particles, similar to the redstone particles but with a color that changes towards blue.
Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.
