Unable to import any Minecraft asset on Android 12

After the migration for Minecraft (on android) to use the Android/data location i am unable to import any .mcpack or .mcaddon files or move an extracted .zip file to the resource_packs location located in Android/data because i can't write or edit files in the Android/data directory. For resource pack- or addon pack creators (on android) is this change really annoying because I/we cannot access my/our files or folders anymore, neither can I/we import new packs from external files.

Is there a solution for this problem or is this a permanent and intended change?
