Invert Y-axis function on touch settings not working

After playing, perfectly fine on inverted for over an hour, I stopped to update my Minecraft version to play on multiplayer. After I went back to the world I was on, I was no longer inverted. I figured this was just my settings being reset from the update, but when I went to change it, it was already on. So, I turned it off and on again, and when that didn't work, I restarted the game and checked again, still nothing. After a few minutes of troubleshooting, I decided to ask my friend who plays on standard axis to invert to see if it works. It didn't. I, myself, and I'm sure all the other odd ones like me who play inverted, would be very grateful to see this fixed, as I am completely dysfunctional playing otherwise. Thanks in advance.
