In creative mode, you can fly and do everything in creative but hunger, xp and hearts are there but they dont work

If i go into creative, the hearts, xp and hunger are still there but they dont work like they shouldnt in creative and it keeps confusing me. For some reason it doesnt affect the pocket ui style, only the classic
