I don't know if this is a bug or is intentional, but whenever a piston, door, or anything that opens and closes is placed right next to, on top, or below a skulk sensor, the skulk sensor would get stuck in an infinite loop. This has not happened in the previous version (1.18.2) and has become a bit of a problem because using pistons directly on top of a skulk sensor is really the only way to make a cheap, automatic escalating staircase. The skulk sensor should only activate if the piston/door is at leastΒ 1 block away. One final note I would like to make is that if a player stands on top of it, it will cause the skulk sensor to infinitely loop (even when crouching).

Pretty sure that is normal, you need wool to prevent the vibrations from reaching the skulk sensor, wool can help seclude the vibrations and you can make it sp only specific vibrations can get throughΒ
