Extreme nether lag

The Nether is practically unplayable. Insane lag, items that I throw into lava come back to my inventory, when I eat food my hunger doesn’t replenish and food goes back to my hot bar then I end up getting killed because I can’t regain health from being hungry, my enchanted Diamond helmet just straight up disappeared when it was almost brand new, ghasts randomly appear and I’m hit with flame balls without hearing the screech first, I even take damage just building straight up to get up a ledge side.
