Experimental BlockPlacer component not correctly functioning with placement filters.

If a data driven item with the ??minecraft:block_placer?? component references a block that has a placement filter of down, north, east, west, south, or side, it will not be able to place down the block on the respective block face.

How to Reproduce:

  • Create a basic behavior pack including a block and an item.

  • Make sure the item has minecraft:block_placer .

  • Make sure the block has minecraft:placement_filter.

  • Create a world with the Holiday Creator Features experimental toggle.

  • Try placing down a block, observe the results.
