If a data driven item with the ??minecraft:block_placer??
component references a block that has a placement filter of down, north, east, west, south, or side, it will not be able to place down the block on the respective block face.
How to Reproduce:
Create a basic behavior pack including a block and an item.
Make sure the item has
minecraft:block_placer .
Make sure the block has
minecraft:placement_filter.
Create a world with the Holiday Creator Features experimental toggle.
Try placing down a block, observe the results.
