when my character is sitting in a boat, there are no hit and interact buttons on the screen, so I cannot kill mobs or place blocks. But there is no such problem if I turn on the old control

I can confirm this error some buttons are missing like attack and interact, and sometimes not even the joystick appears. The only button that shows up sometimes is the one to get out of the boat, and if you play with split controls there is no way to attack or place blocks unless you get off the boat.

In the video, the "dismount" button appears while riding in the boat.
