Unable to use Keyboard Controls (Mouse controls function only)

Problem:

My problem is that I can't do anything when I am loaded into any server. I am positioned into the world (server). As soon as I start pressing the (W,A,S,D). I am stuck. I can't move around or use any of the controls on the keyboard not even press (Esc) to go to the Menu. I tried to check my controls for my "Keyboard and Mouse" and it's all in check the way I wanted. 

Summary:

I can't play the server with my keyboard (practically stuck in last position I was before I exit the game), but the mouse controls work (I can look around and use left and right mouse button and scroll through the hot bar) 

History:

I haven't had this problem before. I have downloaded this update and played a couple of times in it, but not long ago yesterday. I am unable to use the keyboard controls.
