Item stuck in inventory

I don't know if this has been reported already (I looked it up and haven't seen anything close to my problem) but my game does this thing where if I have an item in my inventory, there's a small chance it'll glitch out, and won't allow any other items to stack, and I can't more it in my inventory. If I click it, it won't allow me, then if I try to move it from my inventory to my hot-bar, it'll move for a moment, before going back to its original spot. I can't craft with it, the block I craft will appear for a moment before disappearing, and this glitch happens a little too much. I either have to wait for the bug to cooperate, or leave the world then log back in. Has this been spoken about, before? Please let me know if it has, or if anyone else has been seeing this.
