Worlds created prior to 1.19.31 are failing to sync and are thus unplayable this appears to only happen to worlds that are above a certain storage about 100mb threshold however I will not be testing this further because in the event of minecraft crashing during the sync the world becomes corrupted
Β
To be clear this is not the same as the bug that caused most the most recently accesed worlds to be deleted upon updating I still have the worlds I just can't play them

I'm having a different error message than the one shown in the other report

I had a world around 800-900 MB and it disappeared about a month ago so way before this update. Do you think minecraft will fix this eventually and all worlds will be in sync? I have done all troubleshooting steps that Xbox and minecraft told me to do so I hope that doesnβt mess with the worlds and more than they need to be.

My son and my own worlds, both started to pop up with "failed to sync" or "No save data", before and during the game. On two different Xbox accounts, my sons world being 600mb, my own 950mb. We followed all instructions from Microsoft, hard-resets, deleted save data, some stuff with the Mac, and nothing. They just point you here.
The sync thing has alwasy been an issue when either migrating to a different xbox, or just after reloading your profile and re-syncing. But to randomly fail syncs because of an update, and then for the world to just "grey out" and become unplayable after trying to fix it, is super frustrating.
Please help Mojang, or atleast speak with Microsoft,
As an addendum the progress bar for the sync makes.it all the way to 100% and then I gives me a message saying it failedΒ
