The most recent update on Minecraft where it did the 1.69GB install and duplicated the game briefly has caused me to lose worlds and large amounts of progress. The saved data is still on my system but no matter what i try I cannot sync some worlds due to unexpected corruption and those that eventually sync after the game crashes over and over, have lost months if not years worth of progress.

I had the saved data error too, on my whole console after this update, all of my games even though I have plenty of space

I have the same issue since the update. Worlds will not sync, random worlds appear disappear from my games list all unplayable, game crashes, save data error messages full on Xbox and on minecraft.
I have tried everything to fix what the update ruined.
My 9 year old survival world is gone. I am devastated.
