Game breaking lag

Ever since 1.19.40, the lag has been bonkers. A big issue I noticed was going through a nether portal, and there’s lag between my character being loaded in and I have died a few times trying to get into the nether that way. I cannot see what is happening and end up having issues. Another big one was in an ancient city, the Warden was mean to appear but did not, and after exiting the game and coming back, my character had died from the Wrden and had to respawn. Mobs, friendly and not, will lag while moving, causing issues that way. The world chunks do not load properly. Navigating inventory will sometimes lag a huge amount. There is just overall a lot of lag. I don’t know if it’s on other platforms, but I am playing on the switch when I am not on Java.

However, this issue is Invalid.

Simply stating that "My game is laggy" is not helpful for Mojang to diagnose your issue. If you can pinpoint a specific cause when lag happens for you, please open a new report for that specific issue. If you think this might be a hardware issue please contact Community Support as they might be able to help with your issue.

Keep in mind that Mojang is constantly optimizing the game and simply playing the game provides feedback to Mojang on which parts cause performance issues.

Be sure to review existing open reports by searching for "lag" before creating a new report.

Me and my friend have the same issue, it's like the nether loads in before me, and I'm killed by mobs or fire from ghasts. Yes this bug report could have been written better, the titel should be NETHER PORTAL BUG, LAG IN LOADING IN CAUSES PLAYER TO BE KILLED WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO DEFEND THEMSELVES.
