The jungle leaves are in old graphics. This relates to chests not having the correct model in inventory and leaves when held in hand being in old graphics.

Reopening for further input from a developer. I need an official confirmation that this is either a bug or WAI for now based on a developers decision.
I think because mobile use outdate GPU than PC,Jungle leaves in Pocket uses old texture.Proven in Pocket version Forest (oak trees) more lag than Jungle in full render on my device.
It is Works As Intended for now. Given the amount of leaves produced in a jungle and how transparency performs (or rather, doesn't perform) on older devices, jungle leaves do not have transparency.
Wanted to add something about the bug that may be related.
while testing with blocks.json, I noticed that with the blockshape azalea, jungle leaves only render one side at a time instead of all of them.
something is up with the games renderer since even with a opaque texture, it is the only leaf block like this.
the fix should be to make it render like all other transparent block. A simple fix and yet no one Is bothered to do that.
ill add a video once I am a available to prove my point.
Jungle Leaves have been opaque because of lag. Not a bug.
