Summary:
A Education Edition Toggle Exclusive Command In Minecraft Bedrock Edition that has been broken for a long time. It is a kind of command that allows the world to act like adventure mode in survival mode but safer than adventure mode. The "/immutableworld true" command outputs that it has been updated to true and therefore it actually doesn't.
Observed Results:
After executing the command, "/immutableworld true" in chat with cheats on, the game notifies in the chat with two messages "Game rule immutableworld has been updated to true" and "immutableworld = true." Yet the players in survival mode are still able to destroy blocks.
Expected Results:
After executing the command, "/immutableworld true" in chat with cheats on, the game should notify in the chat with two messages "Game rule immutableworld has been updated to true" and "immutableworld = true." The players should not be able to place and destroy blocks if they are not in creative mode with op.
Current Solution For Players To Be Able To Toggle Immutableworld ON:
The command "/immutableworld true" actually does not work as observed from world files using 3rd party app like Universal Minecraft Editor. The Immutableworld's value remains 0 whichs means its not turned on. In order to use Immutableword, we have to change the value to 1.
