Respawn anchor doesn't work in the nether even when the charges are full and it is not obstructed or missing. It sends me back to the overworld almost every time I die.

Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. This happened to me, but then I tried again and it worked. The area where the RA is located is a glass chamber 7x9 blocks with a portal in side (over a giant lava lake). I spawned inside the portal. This issue is really: there are no spawnable blocks? I can’t respawn on glass? There should be more info on this stuff! If I change some glass blocks to full stone blocks, will the anchor put me there? Or will it randomly pick a block and make it a failed attempt if the chosen block is glass?
