Hello Mojang! My friend does not have an account for reporting bugs, so I'm reporting it for him.
For about a year now, there has been some sort of issue with his game that affects text in the main menu, UI in the Hive server, and the marketplace. In place of each letter/number (in some UI, not all of it as described in the screenshot) is a black of pink/purple rectangle.
Please fix this as soon as possible, because when I try to play with him, he doesn't see what the UI says.
NOTE: This bug doesn't affect the inventory, items, chat/messages, or the pause menu.

Are there any add-ons / global resources in use?
If so, does the issue occur if all non-default Global Resources are deactivated? They may need to exit and relaunch the game after deactivation.

Is this still an issue in the latest version? If yes, can you please add it to the affected versions (or mention it if you are not the reporter)?
